Favorite Musical Moment:

In 2010 I was fortunate to be a part of the National Harmony Sweepstakes winning-group Plumbers of Rome. We had spent the last few years putting together a smart and funny set with a group that strips down music to it’s essential core and rebuilds. It’s such a fun group because of how involved with the music we can get…and the payoff is huge. Plus, we get to let loose on stage and do everything you’re not supposed to do! I guess that’s less of a moment and more of an epoch.

Most Memorable Life-Event:

I’d have to say it was my first beer. I had won a EuRail pass back in college. It was 1st class travel for 30 days anywhere in Europe and I took full advantage! I made a pledge to myself that I’d have my first beer in Ireland, so when I arrived, I started making plans immediately. I met a couple people in the lobby of my hostel and headed to the nearest bar. I ordered a Guiness grabbed the half-filled glass only to be informed by the bartender that the other half was going to be filled…haha! Dumbness. Anyway, there was a drum group playing African music and I danced and realized that I hadn’t really eaten since I had travelled that morning and—it hit me . Great first beer and I’ll never forget it!
